Passing through to visit the region and its castles, I found a wonderful and authentic village bistro, just the way we like them! The owner provides a very warm welcome and excellent service. The atmosphere is peaceful and friendly. The food is delicious and very generous. I highly recommend this place.

Passing through Alsace, I had a Flammekueche for lunch: Oh yes, definitely worth trying! Passing through Lorraine, I tasted the Quiche: Ah yes, much better! Passing through Provence, who hasn't tried a Pissaladière? A delightful surprise! And passing through Touraine, in a remote village nestled between the Indre and Vienne rivers, what an unexpected discovery this Touraine tart was: rillettes, parsley, and rillons simmered in a broth whose secret only the people of Touraine possess. A firework display of Rabelaisian flavors, a gargantuan pleasure... all washed down with a good bottle of local rosé... A bistro just the way we like them, just the way we look for them. Don't hesitate, take the time on your way to Chinon to stop in this little garden of France.
