Cafe Le Metropole sur Rouen

A truly excellent restaurant since its reopening a few months ago under the new owner. The staff are very pleasant and attentive, and the cuisine is simple, delicious, and generous. The menu offers three starters, main courses, and desserts, all homemade, and changes several times a week. A former favorite that has (finally!) regained its former glory, much to our delight. The setting, with its perfectly restored Art Deco decor, enhances the overall experience.

The Métropole, a listed historical monument, embodies French tradition; let's step back in time to the 1930s. Fast and courteous service and a lovely sunny terrace... for a truly enjoyable dining experience.

On Friday, February 27th, I had a glass of Coca-Cola Zero and my boyfriend had a glass of Fuze Theais, and it cost us €7.40. We also had a nice time at the café.

Recently reopened after a long closure, it has been tastefully renovated, respecting the ambiance and charm of the 1930s of this historic brasserie in the Rouen train station district. Beautiful place, lovely and friendly team! Everything is perfect!!

An essential break in my day! A welcome coffee served with a smile, or a lunch break with delicious homemade dishes. A well-known establishment, now truly recognized thanks to the hard work of the entire team. Well done!
