Impeccable service, a warm welcome always with a smile. Having my morning coffee at Au Métropole has become a little daily pleasure before starting the day. And the place is magnificent! Recently reopened after a long closure, it has been tastefully renovated, respecting the ambiance and charm of the 1930s of this historic brasserie in the Rouen train station district. Beautiful place, lovely and friendly team! Everything is perfect!!

I've been eating at Métropole regularly since it reopened, and it's always a real pleasure. The food is simple and delicious, the atmosphere is warm, and the staff is smiling and welcoming, just like the owner. Bravo!

22/01/2026: I give this restaurant a 5/5 for the quality of the food and the service.
04/01/2026: The meal was good, but it's a shame the service didn't live up to the food (the waitresses were unpleasant... they brought the aperitifs at the same time as the starters, and the coffees ordered with the desserts never arrived...). That's the only downside, because the food was quite tasty. My only minor criticism is about the scallop starter, which could have used a bit more spice and a touch more salt. We'll come back if the service improves.
