Passing through Rouen, this café-brasserie was a wonderful discovery! The atmosphere is very pleasant, the setting is beautiful, the service is efficient, and the welcome is warm: you really feel at home! I had lunch there, and the food was delicious; you can tell the dishes are homemade. A special mention for the chocolate fondant—a real treat! 🤩 And the prices are quite reasonable. In short, I'll gladly return! 😍

What a joy to rediscover Le Métro, this historic place, in its original state! Superbly restored. Everything is there: the splendid windows, the bar, the banquettes, the terrace, etc., and of course the busts of Simone de Beauvoir and Jean-Paul Sartre, which contributed to the place's renown. We didn't have lunch there, as the kitchen is currently being renovated. The welcome is warm. Le Métro is a must-visit in Rouen.
