A pleasant surprise was the L'Albbuye Restaurant in Lille. We ordered a pavé de bœuf with fries, and the dish was good. The service was pleasant, with the staff being kind and quick to assist us. The restaurant's ambiance also contributed to a pleasant experience, making our meal even better.

Restaurant with quality service but unfortunately our order was not at the same level. We ordered mussels with different flavors but the taste was not up to par😭 and the fries were cold.

25/08/2024: Good experience overall. Top notch staff. Comfortable and well insulated room, small downside for the shower which is very small. On the other hand, the neighborhood is really not very reassuring, especially as a woman. Don't come alone ladies. The metro is right at the entrance to the hotel but is very poorly used. I was not reassured fortunately I was accompanied Thank you anyway to the managers and staff who are adorable
13/08/2024: Decent room, really small bathroom but that was expected! Decent cleanliness too. Really cool breakfast and great service. Regarding the location, nothing to worry about: a few young people nearby who stay in groups, nothing crazy when you're used to lively places :-)

02/07/2025: I know the owner a little; I think he's of Algerian origin, and he's very kind. He retains loyal customers without favoring them. Very good and pleasant, just the right portion, and if you ask for a change, he makes it without a problem. I recommend it because I've been there several times and always loved it. Contrary to the reviews, I've never been sick.
26/06/2025: Truva is the BEST kebab in Lille and the old town. Super friendly owner and top-notch service. Go there with your eyes closed!
