Hello! A superb find, easily accessible with parking just steps away. Retro decor, with period features, in a traditional pub style. It's not very big, roughly 70 seats, but that makes for a rather calm atmosphere. The menu features homemade dishes, and they're delicious. The service is friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. I recommend it if you enjoy good food and a pleasant experience. We'll definitely be back :)

A lovely little family restaurant where it was a real pleasure to eat. The food is very tasty, freshly prepared and most importantly the meat comes from nearby farms. The staff is friendly and communicative. The service is fast and professional. The atmosphere is pleasant, ideal for lunch with family or friends. The portions are large and satisfying. I would happily return to this restaurant.

Pub Brasserie le Saint Georges

20/04/2026: I contacted this establishment to organize a meal for about twenty people on a Saturday evening. From the very first phone call, the conversation with the owner was very pleasant. Five-star service, homemade cuisine, and generous portions (everything is possible: vegetarian, halal, traditional, etc.). A rare find in Douai where you feel right at home. The setting is magnificent, and the staff is very welcoming, friendly, and professional (special thanks to our waiter for the evening 😉). I wholeheartedly recommend the Saint Georges pub for a drink or a delicious meal with friends or family. Thank you again 🙏
