Wonderful place - if I lived here than this would be my regular spot, hands down. I was staying at a nearby hostel (St. Chris), and I spent the day there after an unfortunate encounter with a homeless person the night before.I met four of the bartenders, and they all really went out of their way to perk me back up and make me feel comfortable in Paris again. I swear I only paid for half of my drinks! They apologized several times for my bad experience in Paris, asked about my trip and my background, and rejuvenated me when I was feeling down. Matthieu in particular was a charming fellow with lots of interesting commentary on current events and geopolitics. Juliette was incredibly sweet. Laura (sp?) had a badass Parisian femme fatale sort of look and was cool. The cookies were delicious. Good drinks. Great place to get work done during the day and enjoy an authentic Paris Cafe vibe at night. Didn't really see any other tourists there. 10/10, will come back again.

A peaceful and charming place. The setting is truly lovely and the food excellent. We had the burrata, the scamorza pizza, and the grilled vegetables; everything was fresh, delicious, and generous.

Perfect for coffee and cookies in the morning, absolutely wonderful for lunch on the terrace in the shade of the plane trees overlooking the canal, incredibly simple for afternoon tea, and sublime for an aperitif dinner with superb focaccia. Run, don't walk!

Incredible though, every time I come there's a guy named Felix, is that normal?
