Delicious lemon cake. Unpleasant welcome, sloppy service. In short, if I come back, it will be for takeout.... I don't think the person who served us will even understand my comment: table not cleared, request to cut a 20cm cake into 4... not understood. I should point out that our request was in French. Table service by the person who took our payment, who notices our table hasn't been cleared... and who dares to say... Could you move the glasses (from the previous customers)?

I've been coming to Cherbourg for eight days a year for many years, stocking up on lemon cake and bringing some back to all my friends and family in Poitiers. It's always a real treat, and the staff are very pleasant too.

29/01/2026: 10/10 Best burger in France! I visited at 6.30 on a Thursday, I had what looked to be the first Guinness of the evening and it was really really good. The staff were amazing. I've been loving in France for over a year and bacon an cheese burger is my go to anywhere I go , this was by far the best bacon and cheese burger I have experienced in France!! The fries were also really amazing!! I can not recommend this place enough! It was quiet at 6.30 on a Thursday , but honestly I can't understand why. My partner had the classic burger and she also agreed the food was amazing! Thanks for the service and amazing food!
