People from Picardy won't be disappointed by the typical dishes of our childhood. The portions are generous. The welcome is very warm. I recommend it.

Great place, very good food, impeccable service, pleasant atmosphere

Beautiful decor, very generous portions, and truly delicious food. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined the experience. We were a table of 13, and the waitress who served us greeted us without a smile and with a frankly unpleasant attitude. Several times, as soon as she left our table, we heard comments like, "I'm going to die." She even mimicked someone at our table simply because they had asked for a scoop of ice cream. And clearly, we weren't the only ones causing a disturbance: when another table ordered ice cream, we heard from the kitchen, "Great, more ice cream!" When customers seem to be treated like this, it inevitably affects the service. There were also many oversights, which we had to point out several times. We almost received our main courses before our sharing platters, which really gave the impression that they were rushing the meal rather than simply respecting its natural flow. Perhaps a table of 13 was too large or more difficult for this waitress to manage, which is understandable. However, this doesn't justify the remarks, the imitations, or the constant feeling of being a nuisance. We were 13 customers who came to have a good time, not 13 people who came to disrupt her evening. We would, however, like to highlight the professionalism of another waitress, who wasn't even serving our table this time. She was very pleasant, smiling, and professional every time she interacted with us. In fact, we had already come just two weeks prior with a group of 8 people, and it was this very same waitress who took care of us. We were very well received and had excellent memories of the service. The contrast between our two visits is therefore quite striking. It just goes to show that it's perfectly possible to be friendly, smiling, and professional with customers, even when they come in a group. The food and the setting certainly deserve praise. However, when a customer pays to have a good time at a restaurant, they shouldn't feel like they're bothering the person serving them.

Always very good. It's a shame we were only informed at the time of payment that holiday vouchers are only accepted for half the amount.

It was great! I'd already tried Welsh rarebit in Lille, but honestly, this was so much better! A real discovery, I enjoyed it from start to finish. The portions were generous, the dishes delicious, and the desserts were just as good. Special mention to the servers, who were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had a great laugh and a wonderful time; it was truly delightful! We're from Alsace, so naturally, when the portions are generous and delicious, we're thrilled! 😂 I highly recommend this place. And if I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be back!

A beautifully renovated restaurant with lovely decor and a pretty terrace. Simple but tasty cuisine. We had potjevleesch and entrecôte steak, both hearty and delicious. The organic Bourgueil wine was excellent. As residents of Saint Riquier, we highly recommend this place. We're deducting one star because we were refused a table on the terrace in August, and the weather was mild...

Cycling in the rain so stopped for a quick lunch! Excellent choice and perfect meal with 30km still to go!
