Freine le Temps, a charming little brasserie on the square, is ideal for a break after exploring the pretty streets of Rochefort-en-Terre. It's a pleasure to meet up there for a drink in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. A big thank you to the owner for her warm welcome and smile, despite the busy season.

We stopped in this beautiful village on our way back from vacation. We chose this restaurant by chance, and it was a wonderful find! The owner is incredibly friendly, the food is perfect, and the value for money is unbeatable 💪. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The location is great (right next to the parking lot), and even the cat is welcoming 😁😅. We highly recommend this establishment. Thank you 🥰.

Lovely village Very pleasant restaurant Quiet and peaceful terrace The dish offered was good value for money Generous and tasty The only downside was the conversation next door...everyone has their own political opinions. We had a good time and the staff were very pleasant.

We had a lovely time, arriving late Saturday evening for a last drink. We were greeted with smiles and a great atmosphere, including a guitar available for our use, so we returned the next day for lunch. The set menu (starter, main course, dessert) was simple, efficient, and very good. The meats were cooked to perfection—tender and flavorful—and the Mourvèdre wine was excellent. Thank you to Nath and Delphine for their rock 'n' roll and friendly service! We will definitely be back to Freiner le temps with great pleasure.

21/08/2026: A quick stop at the slate quarry. The terrace is rather narrow for man's best friend, but dogs are welcome, which is a plus. We had a pleasant time; the starter was excellent (roasted Camembert with honey is recommended). The price is good for a set menu, but expensive without it for what's on offer. The burger was as classic as they come, perhaps lacking originality. My partner had grilled ham with Madeira sauce, which was relatively expensive for what it was (half a slice). Luckily, the fries were there to fill us up. For dessert, we had ice cream, which was good, but nothing to write home about. The waiter was quite pleasant. It's a decent place to stop for a proper meal, but it won't be my restaurant outing of the month. Hence the 3/5 rating.
18/08/2026: Good food, excellent service and a lovely restaurant, but we didn't like the far breton.
