In my search through Europe for a perfect hot chocolate, Le Saint Regis was on my list. We stopped by on a Monday afternoon at about 2:30pm for a light bite after visiting the Notre Dame. It's in a convenient location, affordable, and delectable. I very much enjoyed the French onion soup on a cold October day, along with their chocolat chaud, which was deliciously chocolatey while also being lighter on the stomach and less sweet than Carette's infamous option. It was quiet that particular day with no wait time for a table. Our food came fast and we had a lovely view of the river and strolling pedestrians.

A very nice breakfast near from the Notre Dame. You must drink the chocolate. And i think you must eat omelette with croissant 🥐

Came here with three friends to have a late afternoon.Lunch appetizer where fantastic. We had the charcuterie and cheese board and fried calamari.The drinks were fantastic.I had the porn star martini with a champagne chaser..omg..so yummy. Are autumn trays were excellent to totally recommend this place. The views are great and in a great area.

It was a great place to grab a quick lunch before our Notre Dame tickets. I had maybe the best onion soup I have ever eaten. Others were equally happy with their choices.

Fabulous and delicious place to eat. We were saying that we liked it as much as a more expensive place we ate the night before. Brian who managed also took care of us and was very good to us.

This is my go-to to recommendation for first time visitors to Paris. I think it is a perfect combination of attractions (Notre Damne Cathedral os in full view, the atmosphere quietly lets you know youre in Paris, but Paris has been here...forever.

Love this bistrot! Great food, service and atmosphere. A good dose of French 'eating out'. On this visit we had dinner, last time (18 months ago) we had breakfast. The staff are wonderful; very friendly and welcoming.

19/04/2026: I had Sundaeguk (blood sausage soup) and they even gave me salted shrimp paste. The side dishes were neat and well-prepared haha. I heard the Dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried chicken) is delicious, so I plan to go back next time to try it.

Ladurée

25/04/2026: Cute space at the heart of 6ème! Please avoid Ladurée at Champs Elysées and head to where everything started in Rue Bonaparte. You will find the cutest Salons de Thé upstairs, decorated in a classic French style, with beautiful windows with flowers to the Main Street. We were served by the most sympathetic and attentive lady called Riday, who made us feel at ease from the very beginning. She was knowledgeable about the menu, suggesting her favorites, but also recommending the iconic Eugénie which we loved. A place where we will return for sure!
25/04/2026: I went to Madeleine Champs-Élysées and was very disappointed. Ladurée Bonaparte was superb, a huge thank you to Riday for his professionalism and his smile. I will return with great pleasure.
