06/03/2026: By far the best meal I had while in France and the competition is fierce! Ordered the set menu with ravioli to start and beef bourginion entree. Both dishes were absolutely out of this world with very generous portion sizes (words cannot describe the flavor profiles that my taste buds experienced. Just wow!). Was hoping to do the 3 courses set menu but was sadly too full for dessert. Not only was this the best valuded meal of my Paris trip, but also the tastiest! Will definitely be back the next time I visit Paris.

16/03/2026: It was a wonderful experience. The restaurant is very pleasant and beautifully decorated. The welcome was very warm and the lunch menu was excellent. I chose the bavette steak and the crème brûlée. A real treat. I highly recommend it; a true culinary journey and a trip back in time.

30/03/2026: If there's one ice cream shop you absolutely must try in Paris, it's this one! The flavors are simply incredible and a hundred times more intense than regular ice cream. You have to try it to understand, and you won't be disappointed! We tried strawberry, pistachio, coffee, and caramel... Simply delicious.

18/03/2026: Lovely dinner. Food was outstanding. We have had many "Chef's Menus" over the years and this was one of the most approachable while still being adventurous and exciting. Who knew I needed Cilantro sorbet to cleanse the old palate? Staff was fantastic and friendly. We highly recommend!

17/02/2026: We were welcomed a little before opening time, which was lovely. Small but warm and cozy. Visiting Paris for a few days, having come from Alsace, we were delighted to have found this restaurant tucked away on a street near Notre-Dame Cathedral. The meal was delicious from start to finish, with very reasonable prices. We'll definitely keep this address in mind for our next visit. 😊

10/03/2026: Start with the positive. The food was fine. The pizzas were solid and exactly what you’d expect from a neighborhood spot. Unfortunately the experience went downhill when the bill arrived. I didn’t realize until after we had already left, but I was charged €56 for two pizzas and two waters. That’s not a small pricing mistake, that’s highway robbery. Maybe it was an error, maybe it wasn’t, but either way it leaves a bad taste in your mouth that the pizza couldn’t overcome. Check your bill carefully if you go

23/03/2026: We had lunch there as a family on a Saturday, and this place is truly a hidden gem. We received a very warm welcome in this charming setting, in the heart of Île Saint-Louis, from a smiling and professional waiter. We thoroughly enjoyed the crispy chicken starter and the casserole of Royans ravioli. Then came the dish of the day: a duo of meats (beef and duck) in a truffle jus, accompanied by vegetables, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. For dessert, we had a chocolate fondant and a speculoos crème brûlée as part of the set menu. The price of the menu is very reasonable considering the generous portions and quality, especially since it's also available on weekends. This is a must-try on the island: I will definitely return, and it's now one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. We were delighted; congratulations to the Chef and the restaurant team. €40 per person including wine (€120 for three people for 3 set menus and a bottle of wine)

Personally, I love everything about it: the authentic French cuisine, the owner who does everything himself: the welcome, the service, and of course, the food. The wine, by the glass or bottle, is always excellent, and there's a set menu or à la carte options, all at very reasonable prices just steps from Notre Dame. The decor is genuine, just like Claude, who embodies the character of his cooking: honest and passionate about respecting tradition. Never disappointed.

17/02/2026: A sensational setting for a cozy evening. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the cinema-themed decor, a tribute to Brialy, is very well done. The dishes are excellent, especially the pan-fried sweetbreads with Jura yellow wine! I highly recommend this restaurant where the chef will welcome you in the most wonderful way. During this curfew period, the chef is offering very high-quality takeaway dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant.

19/03/2026: Ate breakfast here. Eggs Benedict, chocolate croissant, espresso, cafe americano were all very good. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Restrooms were poorly lit, that was only minor qualm. Would definitely go back.

16/03/2026: the food was so good. my husband had sausage with mash potatoes, i had the vegetable lasagna. for desert we had the french toasts. the wines were excellent. they even made up a small charcuterie board for us. the place is beautiful, charming. the service was excellent.

14/03/2026: Had a really lovely time at Au Bougnat! The place has that classic Parisian bistro charm—cozy, lively, and full of character. The food was delicious and felt very authentic, with rich flavors and generous portions. Amazing onion soup and Poche Eggs!! It’s the kind of spot where you can relax, enjoy good wine, and just soak in the atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming too, which made the whole experience even nicer. A great little place to enjoy real Parisian vibes!
