Café Tabac Constantin sur Albiez-Montrond

Every time we've stayed in Albiez for the past three years, we've stopped at Le Constantin for their Savoyard fondue. We're never disappointed; it's always so delicious! And the charcuterie that goes with it is excellent! Thank you for your hospitality! Everyone is delighted, young and old! We can't wait for our next visit!

When you arrive at the establishment, you might wonder if there's been a mistake, yet the sign above the entrance clearly corresponds to the establishment recommended by the Tourist Office. As soon as you step inside, you're immersed in the theme: the tiles, the bar, the tables and chairs are all period pieces, there's wood paneling everywhere you can find it, and well-tended plants adorn every window. The only detail that betrays the decor is the lottery terminal. As for the restaurant, there's no menu, just a single dish: Savoyard fondue, a simple recipe but the best I've ever had. In short, no flashy storefront with neon lights illuminating the entire village square, no sterile decor, no flyers on the table in the rental apartment, just a simple café-bar-restaurant with an authentic atmosphere to create a lasting memory. A must-visit if you're in the area!
