Cafe Ty Pierre sur Roscoff

This is a perfect family owned restaurant with a cool interior, tables outside and always busy during summer. You feel at home and get good local food and beer, but not only. The prices are quite reasonable and affordable.

Discovered during my stay in Roscoff for the Tango by the Coast festival in Finistère, Café Ty Pierre was a delightful surprise! Its location, right in the heart of the old port, might suggest an establishment catering solely to tourists. But it's quite the opposite! Here you'll find truly high-quality, generous cuisine prepared with local and seasonal products, in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It's easy to see why the locals of Roscoff return regularly. Throughout my stay, I was greeted with a smile. The service is efficient, quick, and professional, even when it's busy. The dishes are delicious, the portions generous, and the desserts a real treat! There's a wonderful selection of varied desserts, each more tempting than the last. Another great feature: Café Ty Pierre is open year-round, making it an excellent choice for both locals and visitors alike. You can also sense a genuine commitment to working with local products and an eco-responsible approach, which deserves to be highlighted. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone passing through Roscoff. Whether you're visiting to explore the region, like I was for a tango festival, or simply looking for a good restaurant where you can eat well without breaking the bank, you can go there without hesitation. I'll definitely be back!

The mussels in marinara sauce were very good.

A warm welcome this summer of 2026, good value for money, friendly staff. I have a better feeling about it than in previous years.
