A good selection, simple yet effective cuisine, a friendly and helpful team, and a lovely terrace. A great place for a quick and easy meal at a very reasonable price.
Also worth noting is the meeting room equipped with a large screen.
This was our second time stopping at the cafeteria on a Sunday at lunchtime.
The place was packed again (although the room must be well soundproofed because the noise level was acceptable). The clientele is very family-oriented (at least on Sundays). Everyone takes a tray and fills it as they walk past the different stations (starter, main course, dessert). At the register, we were asked how many people were in our party, and a waitress prepared a table for us accordingly.
We were four adults and two children. The price: six main courses, six desserts, one starter, a quarter-liter of wine, and six slices of bread for 79 euros, so an unbeatable price.
The main courses were very generous (special mention for the free-range chicken), and the desserts were delicious (special mention for the floating island). The children ordered adult main courses and desserts (we weren't told about a children's menu, but we didn't specifically ask for one).
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The €9.50 set menu was really good. The terrace is large and spacious. The restaurant is clean.
Starter + main course + dessert + wine + coffee for about €18 per person.
It's a perfect stop on a long drive.
Very good cafeteria, it's a shame it's no longer open in the evenings because every year we stop at the Cantal Cottage hotel and we used to have our evening meal there, which suited us very well.
