24/10/2026: After a dozen or so delicious experiences, I always forget to post a review. So, I decided to do it for the first time today.
La Gourmandière is a truly gourmet restaurant!
It all begins with a warm and welcoming reception from Claudine, the owner. The main dining room, with its inviting and rustic atmosphere, offers seating for all groups (in summer, the terrace provides a delightful outdoor oasis of greenery!).
You immediately feel at ease, with the feeling that you're in for a wonderful time, whether in a private setting, with family, or even in a small group. It's the perfect atmosphere for a gourmet interlude... and it never disappoints.
And then... and then... the menu and tasting menus are just as enticing as the amuse-bouches, which awaken the taste buds of those who haven't yet experienced the delights of this restaurant, despite their deliciousness... just yesterday! From sliced or pan-seared foie gras to delicate mousses and exquisite scallops, from finely prepared fish to generous and lovingly accompanied cuts of poultry, beef, or veal, from seafood to richly flavored vegetable gratins: everything, absolutely everything, is a delight here. Chef Christian Coulon pours all his culinary expertise, his love of quality ingredients, and the finesse of good cuisine onto beautiful, large plates (always served piping hot!). The dishes are as generous as they are vibrant, offering a taste of the chef's mastery. And as if to entice the palate further, Claudine, with her inexhaustible knowledge of the origins, subtleties of production, and the sensations they evoke, presents a rare selection of cheeses, both local and from further afield.
And since those with a sweet tooth here never let reason hold them back, the homemade desserts (soufflés, pear Belle Hélène, delectable sorbets...) bring to a close an endless tasting experience from beginning to end. Coffee is served with several small...treats (very delicate, rest assured!), as if to maintain the perfect tone of this exceptional experience.
Oh...I almost forgot, the wine cellar is breathtaking, and Claudine is always happy to offer advice on choosing between the very good and the excellent. A wealth of good taste, generosity, and intense flavor sensations await you. Be wise, make a reservation...be enthusiastic, savor!
09/08/2026: An absolutely incredible experience! The meal was exceptional, everything was delicious and perfectly executed. We've never eaten so well!
And what can we say about the service… We've never been so well looked after. A lovely, attentive, professional team who took excellent care of us from beginning to end.
A huge congratulations to the entire team for this magnificent experience. We will definitely be back and we wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! ❤️
