Nice atmosphere and decor, but don't order the salad (€28) – it's expensive for what it is; I was disappointed with the portion size. Go for the fish of the day instead.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A true haven of happiness right on the water! La Paillote Chez Éric, in Cala d'Orzu, is an exceptional place where time seems to stand still. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by a magnificent panorama: turquoise waters, a pristine beach, and a peaceful atmosphere that immediately invites you to relax. Whether you're enjoying a simple refreshment overlooking the sea or savoring lunch in an idyllic setting, everything is in place for a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is friendly, authentic, and perfectly in harmony with the beauty of the location. A big thank you also to the owner, who is incredibly kind. A must-visit in Cala d'Orzu to recharge, admire breathtaking scenery, and enjoy a timeless moment. I highly recommend it!

Very expensive for what it is… okay, the setting is idyllic, but that's not everything… the service was very slow, the waitress didn't even offer us wine, we had to ask several times, we didn't find her very professional. The dishes are decent, but the side dishes are really meager, it's really lacking in generosity, which is a shame…

The atmosphere is incredible, right on the water, not many people around, the setting is truly idyllic. The food was excellent, the daily special, barracuda en papillote, was incredibly well prepared. It's always a pleasure to return to Corsica and rediscover that very satisfying feeling of finding a place that pleasantly surprises you, far from the tourist crowds. You'll find mostly locals there; the access road isn't obvious, but it's perfectly manageable, and definitely worth the effort. Thank you for the warm welcome and this wonderful experience!

A beach shack right on the sand on a paradise beach. A must-visit spot where you can enjoy delicious grilled fish caught that day (dentex, barracuda, scorpionfish, white seabream, brown meagre...). You can go there without hesitation. One
