Campanile Alencon sur Cerise

A very pleasant welcome by a smiling receptionist. A comfortable room even if slightly in its original state and soundproofing is a nightmare. In terms of housekeeping, it's 1 day out of 2. For dinner, you'd better arrive early, otherwise you'll have to go to bed on an empty stomach, even if you arrive at 9:20 p.m. A TV that is impossible to watch cuts out constantly.

This is a budget hotel, the rooms are perfectly comfortable and utilitarian. There's a kettle and paper cups with a couple of sachets of tea and coffee. For us it is perfectly situated for a short drive to Calais after a long drive from northern Spain. The best bit is the evening meal and the staff on duty. Rude on reception is welcoming and helpful. Mehdi in the restaurant is the perfect host and knows exactly how to make the guests feel at ease with a laugh and a joke. Nicolas the Chef serves up some great food! After a long drive the restaurant experience definitely helps you to relax. They even remembered us from our last visit 5 months ago! Breakfast is great for a budget hotel with a good choice of cereals, fruits, bread, etc. We'll definitely be back!

Solid hotel! The negative reviews are completely exaggerated. We initially stayed at a B&B hotel nearby for one night (based on the reviews here), which was a mistake. In the Campenile the rooms are nicer, much better bed, extra pillows available, better heating, bigger TV, bathroom functional, clean, breakfast good. Don't go to the B&B!!

I came to do an 8-week training course in Alençon, my company reserved a room for me in this hotel, although the room is still in its original state, we sleep very well there! The staff is really nice, we feel at home there! And what about the delicious dishes served to us at the restaurant? 🫣

Chambre qui demande un rafraîchissement.. Bouton de clim illisible... Cependant propre et accueil du personnel agréable..

Chambre très pratique avec le parking juste devant et bien aménagée . Bonne literie Personnel très accueillant et souriant Petit bémol sur la propreté de la chambre ...poussière ++ sur les abats jour au dessus des lits ..poil sur le bord de la baignoire ..."minouches noirs au pied du lit ..et abat jour de la lampe sur le bureau très taché..dommage car c est vraiment bien

Il y a des travaux de rénovations à faire dans la chambre ex joints de la baignoire

Ns prenons les Campanile car ils sont tjrs très bien placés près de l'autoroute et faciles d'accès. Les chambres sont correctes, propres surtout. Ns aimons les ptdj en self toujours bien fournis et la cuisine du restaurant.
