Campanile Montpellier Saint Jean de Vedas sur Saint-Jean-De-Vedas

I stayed at the Kyriad Direct in Montpellier, Saint Jean de Védas. I found it a bit too far from Montpellier; it takes a good 20 to 30 minutes to get there, depending on rush hour. There's a lot of traffic at the roundabout. The road is quite poor and full of potholes. The hotel is located next to a Première Classe. The reception area serves both hotels, Kyriad and Première Classe. The parking is fairly decent. The welcome was friendly but surprising. Once there, we were told we needed a €100 deposit. I think it's a bit much not to warn people in advance and take them by surprise. Once in the room, it was okay; there was some coffee and a kettle. It was clean and smelled nice. The bedding was adequate. However, the air conditioning wasn't working properly. I had to call the hotel twice to get my deposit back. And I don't like chasing people around. They're supposed to release it on the day of departure. I had to call the next day, and again two days later I had to call again, and this time my deposit was released. Overall, it's a hotel for emergencies, but it won't be the most pleasant stay.

We stayed one night at the Kyriad Direct last week, and it was perfect. Our room was on the first floor facing the parking lot, no complaints. We tried again this week, but we stayed in a room on the second floor, garden side, which was very noisy. The bed was awful, the springs dug into our ribs… in short, we won't be repeating the experience, especially since I had requested a room on the first floor facing the parking lot, and I think there were some available… what a shame!

Right next to the motorway, convenient access, they accept dogs 🐕, very friendly staff.

My experience with Kyriad Direct was very positive. The telephone reception for the reservation was impeccable, and upon my late arrival at the hotel, the night porter was kind and helpful. Furthermore, for breakfast, which starts at 6:30 am, I arrived at 5:30 am and was still able to have breakfast... I highly recommend them.

I enjoyed my stay; the girls were very welcoming. I'll be back as I'm doing training nearby. The location is convenient and the breakfast was good.

We stayed at this hotel last night and frankly, we have no complaints. The room was adequate for the price, the reception staff were friendly, and the breakfast was decent. Even though we didn't receive the confirmation email from Booking.com, they had no problem letting us stay in the room. I'll definitely keep this hotel in mind for our next trip to Montpellier.
