We have stayed at this hotel several times a year for many years.
We noticed a decline in the cleanliness of the room and several shortcomings, which we politely mentioned to the receptionist (not to complain, but to point them out). She even offered us breakfast and a free tourist tax as compensation.
She also explained that two of the three cleaning staff were on leave and that they were training new staff, which might explain these minor inconveniences.
We hope our comments will help them regain their 5-star rating for the room and services, which we have no doubt they will! 😁

My opinion of this hotel is very mixed. I'll start with the biggest negative: it's a real shame that the air conditioning wasn't turned on in advance, especially since a heatwave had been forecast for several days. I slept with the window open, with a neighbor smoking right outside our window, because the hotel rooms are non-smoking... Not cool at all.
I complained to management, who gave us a discount. My rating therefore takes into account this air conditioning issue and the discount, but it doesn't change the fact that I had a difficult night.
Another negative point: the sheet was tucked in too tightly at the foot of the bed, leaving nothing at the head. I had to redo it, otherwise I would have ended up with the pillow on the mattress.
Aside from that, the hotel is well located. The rooms are clean. The restaurant is simple, but perfectly adequate. The breakfast is quite good. The staff are friendly. The management, however, is less so, especially when they have to explain to guests that the air conditioning takes 48 hours to fully activate...

A small but very pleasant room for an overnight stay. There are a few minor repairs needed, such as replacing the blinds.

The staff are very friendly. We ate dinner at the restaurant; the food was simple and good. The only slight drawback was the mattress in our room; when one person moved, it woke the other.

I gave it a 4-star rating because the breakfast wasn't exceptional for the price (pre-packaged croissants, not from a bakery, no fried eggs or anything else). Otherwise, the hotel was very quiet for a weekend, the reception was excellent, and the staff very pleasant. I recommend this establishment.

Positive:
- Very friendly staff
- Very good soundproofing
- Very good cleanliness, although not spotless
- Good value for money
Negative:
- Poor soundproofing between rooms
- Restaurant closed the evening of my arrival (not mentioned online when booking)
Neutral / Possible improvement:
Breakfast was adequate. Could be improved by adding hot items to the buffet (sausage/eggs/bacon/etc.)

A fantastic team, pleasant and incredibly kind. The food was better than in some restaurants, both in terms of quality and quantity. Chloé's service was a delight.
