Camping Chantemerle sur Bedoues

We chose to recommend this campsite to our family for our wedding. The owner was very welcoming and friendly from the time we met until our guests left. They had an excellent stay at the Chantemerle campsite and have very good memories of it. We had two different reservations. A first where a member of our family stayed in a tepee. Everything was very good: the equipment was satisfactory and adapted, and we particularly appreciated that the dog was accepted. The only downside was the zipper on the door, which took a little while to close properly, and it was a bit cold the first night due to the proximity to the river. However, this in no way detracted from its overall experience. The second reservation, our family opted for a mobile home. Again, everything was very good. The only negative point was the access via the stairs without safety railings, which may be unsuitable for an elderly or disabled person with a cane. Despite this, they had a very pleasant stay. We highly recommend the Chantemerle campsite for its magnificent setting and comfortable accommodation.

It’s a good feeling to come across this campsite, after more than 25 km of walking on the Chemin de Stevenson path. A quiet riverside campsite with very good catering. I took the opportunity to finish writing my book What is happiness for you? in search of meaning.

Adorable campsite on the banks of the Tarn. Impeccable welcome, cleanliness and services. I highly recommend.

Super beautiful, quiet campsite in a fantastic landscape, with incredibly friendly, helpful staff. Spacious parking spaces right on the river, very clean sanitary facilities in good condition. A nice restaurant on the square, also located right on the river. To make matters worse, in addition to all the beauty here, there is also a family of beavers on the river to admire! Washing machine, dryer, breakfast service...everything is there! A short-term booking was easily possible, as was our two-time request to extend our stay because it was just sooooooooooooo nice :-) Update summer 2024: This time I planned a 5 day stay from the start... and what can I say? We extended twice this time too. It's just (unchanged) great! :-))

Very nice campsite. Very simple, pleasant, well placed. We ate at the restaurant, it was also very good and all the staff were really pleasant.

very pleasant surprise when arriving at this campsite! family campsite, very quiet, very clean. Team available and smiling. We were in a 29m2 mobile home: very clean, functional, good bedding. You can go there with your eyes closed.

Pleasant campsite on the banks of the Tarn. The Stevenson passes in the middle: visit the surrounding villages and go as far as Florac for the more daring. Large spaces for parking the camper van. Sanitary facilities would need to be reviewed (cobwebs, flushing toilets and lack of hot water for washing up). Finally, it's a shame that cars are parked in the emptying area: we were unable to empty the gray water.

Very pleasant campsite by the river, good restaurant, nice children's structure. We slept in a pod: the advantage of camping with fridge + coffee maker and microwave at an intermediate price. The location lacked a little privacy but otherwise everything was good. Common toilets rather clean (in any case the staff does their best, there are always disrespectful people on campsites unfortunately....). We will come back

We had a pleasant stay with the family. The welcome is warm. The restaurant has good value for money. The staff is very friendly. Access to the river with deckchairs is really a plus during high temperatures. The teepee home is very clean and very well equipped. We will come back!!!
