Camping Fontaine Vieille sur Andernos-Les-Bains

We have been coming for several years and have noticed a real evolution in the campsite which apparently has just changed management and ownership. What a change! both in terms of improvements at reception and the entrance to the campsite, as well as in customer service...! We have noted a real upscaling of services and services (security, ushers, receptionist, restaurant bar mini market, entertainment, housekeeping and technology, etc.). Even if everything is not yet perfect, the change is visible and is moving in the right direction. The only downside is the behavior and incivility of certain users who, through their actions, can leave a negative opinion on the campsite (sanitary facilities for example) while the campsite teams do everything to avoid inconvenience. Reading some reviews, we were not in the same place…!!!! We returned from the Fontaine Vieille campsite in Andernos and had a great week with teams who were close to their customers and attentive. In this month of August we were able to take full advantage of the spaces, the activities and a clean campsite….! Please note that the toilets are thoroughly cleaned at least twice a day and this is recorded in a register at the entrance to the toilet. We recommend without problems and will come back next year. Location by the beach, well secured, very quiet, 5 minutes from the town center of Andernos-les-Bains by car.

Super campsite bordering the Arcachon basin

Spent a few nights here with the caravan. It is still early season so it is wonderfully quiet. Sanitary facilities could use an update. Unfortunately, no toilet paper and no toilet seats in French. But there is also no option to wash your hands after going to the toilet or you have to do so in a washing cabin. There is also a shelf or bench to put your things on if you want to go to the toilet before showering. The campsite is ideally located near cycle paths and a short distance from the center of the village. Staff at the reception are friendly and helpful.

Very pleasant campsite. Quiet, with direct access to the Arcachon basin and seafront promenade. Clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities. Services ok

Had a great parking space here with a great price and right on the water. Good sanitary facilities and you can easily reach some restaurants on foot. The check-in staff was great, nice and helpful. The place also has a nice pool. We would be happy to come back if the opportunity arises. For us, after a day at Cap Feret, it was an alternative to a place in Arcachon, which we visited on the way the next day.

Quite expensive and non-transparent pricing. On the website and in the invoice. But: Very nice campsite!
