It was only my third visit in 20 years, even though I live in Andernos! 😂 I admit, I'm not a regular customer. I definitely prefer the machines with wheels. I'll be back! 👍🏻

14/07/2026: I love this place! The setting is superb, the welcome is always warm and friendly, and the service is impeccable. The music is great, the outdoor area is very pleasant, and the selection of machines is really varied. You feel completely transported; it's a real pleasure every time you visit!

23/07/2026: On a family holiday, we had a lovely time; the food was beautiful and delicious. No complaints. The only slight downside was a slightly tense atmosphere among the staff (perhaps just my impression) 🤷‍♂️. Otherwise, a great place! 👌

A very disappointing experience compared to the establishment's usual standards. Is this a temporary or lasting decline in quality?

07/07/2026: I've been going to this pizzeria for 22 years, it's never changed and the authenticity is still there. I highly recommend the staff who are always kind and attentive. What more can I say? It's the perfect place for a great dinner. Looking forward to it!

21/07/2026: We live over two hours away from Chez Huguette but it is still well worth the trip (even navigating the Bordeaux Rocade!). It is our choice of restaurant for special occasions. The fruits de mer is just the great and their langoustines are always the best. Reservation is imperative or you will be disappointed.

21/03/2026: I settled in alone yesterday at lunchtime under Christine's pergola. Six extraordinary oysters, six very fresh shrimp, a small glass of rosé, bread and mayonnaise on the side. Sunshine and a light breeze on the Arcachon Bay, a view of mallard ducks quacking in the small stream at the bottom of the mudflats at low tide. The hospitality of Christine and her husband seems straight out of a timeless novel. This couple loves their work, but even more so, they love people. If you like modernity, don't rush. If you appreciate the truth of a story that paints a whole landscape of languor and humanity, this is an essential stop.

02/03/2026: A warm welcome, no fuss, and oysters that were particularly delicious in early March, and a good size for size 3. The Espelette pepper pâté was fragrant, and the white wine from Château Farizeau (Entre-Deux-Mers) paired perfectly with everything. And the price was reasonable for the whole experience; in short, highly recommended.

26/06/2026: Excellent lunch today, everything homemade from appetizer to dessert. The fish rillettes were superb, the black cod fillet was very good, as was the coffee tiramisu. No wait at all.

04/06/2026: A delicious homemade meal prepared by the lady who runs the restaurant single-handedly, using fresh seafood from the morning's catch. The scallop fritters were delicious, as were the fillets of sole and mullet. The dry white wine by the glass was also really good (only €4.50! And a generous pour). As for the Piña Colada dessert, which wasn't usually my favorite, it was absolutely remarkable! Smooth whipped cream, light and unsweetened coconut cream, all on a base of pineapple and mango with a touch of burnt rum—a true delight. All at a very reasonable price. This lady is charming; eating here means supporting an independent business, homemade and fresh. Go for it!

04/10/2025: While on vacation, we decided to try this chain. Well, we were very disappointed. I don't understand the majority of reviews... The sushi lacked flavor, the proportions were off with the rice, and the size was also disappointing. The filling was really small compared to the rice. It's a shame that the sushi menu doesn't specify, like the poke bowl menu does, that the tuna is raw. We were misled because we don't eat raw tuna, and when we pointed this out to the woman, she simply replied, "You'll have to taste it." She didn't really listen, which is a shame because the service and friendliness were excellent. It's incomparable to other chains like Sushi Makers or even Côté Sushi.
