I only went to the campsite restaurant because some friends were my guests. The welcome and service were professional (which is what you want when you go to a restaurant), especially since the restaurant's atmosphere was pleasant, calm, and friendly.
The bread: fresh and crusty.
For the starter, I ordered the chicken terrine with fig confit and salad:
The terrine was fresh, good, and flavorful, especially with the fig confit, which brought everything together. The salad complemented the starter perfectly.
My friends ordered a goat cheese crème brûlée with duck breast and a slightly spicy sauce:
The goat cheese flavor was intense, and the two slices of duck breast were a bit thin.
For the main course, I ordered veal sauté with a sage and olive sauce, accompanied by creamy polenta:
The dish arrived hot. (This may seem basic, but it's not always the case.) The meat was perfectly cooked, tender, slightly juicy with a touch of fat—but good fat that melts in your mouth and blends wonderfully with the sauce. The polenta was the perfect accompaniment to this dish; it complemented it beautifully.
My friends ordered the beef fillet with fries and four-spice butter, and the gravlax salmon with crumble and sweet potato purée:
The beef was tender and melted in your mouth—a delight. The butter was mild and delicious, and the fries were more like potato wedges, but it's still a classic.
The gravlax salmon was perfectly cooked, meltingly tender and juicy. The flavor was rather mild compared to the sweet potato purée, which had a more intense taste that could have thrown the dish off balance. The crunchy crumble contrasted with the salmon, while the smooth purée provided a perfect texture balance.
For dessert, I had a strawberry pavlova:
No disappointment whatsoever, it was exactly what you want from a pavlova. The strawberries and the coulis were flavorful, perfectly complementing the light whipped cream. The crisp meringue provided a perfect balance of flavors and textures.
My friends ordered two scoops of ice cream with whipped cream and a Creusois cake with vanilla and caramel ice cream:
The ice cream was a classic, no need to elaborate.
However, the Creusois cake was decent, with intensely flavored vanilla ice cream and a caramel coulis that was a bit too runny for my taste, but overall it was good.

Great campsite, recently taken over, very quiet, very large motorhome pitches, water and electricity on many pitches. Very clean sanitary facilities. Restaurant, secure swimming pool, paddling pool, children's play area
