Canada'Venture sur Metz

The waiter and owner were very pleasant. The decor was nice. The salmon was good, but the side dish was very basic: a large boiled potato... The value for money was very average.

We often come here with friends who have traveled from afar, or occasionally with family. It's definitely one of the places I always recommend when people ask me for good restaurants in Metz. The food is delicious! The service is excellent! It's easy to chat amongst ourselves and with the very friendly owners. The only "negative" point would be that the drinks are a bit pricey for the amount sometimes poured. Can't wait to go back!

If you'd like to escape to Canada for a meal from Metz, I highly recommend this restaurant. You'll enjoy typical Canadian dishes in a very cozy and friendly atmosphere. A special mention goes to the owner, who always has a smile on his face, and to the cozy little corner, which is a must-visit spot in this restaurant. I highly recommend it.

This evening, May 13, 2026, three friends and I came to enjoy a delicious Canadian meal. What can I say about this small, unique Canadian restaurant? I'd never been before, and it was a wonderful discovery. The owner is incredibly welcoming, always available to his customers, and never shies away from a good story. :) I love the concept. The dining room is beautiful, right down to the restrooms, all decorated in a Canadian style, which I really appreciate. From the restaurant to the restrooms, everything inside is truly lovely. As for the food, honestly, it was excellent. I ordered the €34 "gourmet platter" with its assortment of meats, which was simply exceptional. The pork ribs were incredibly tender, the bison skewers were amazing, and the thinly sliced ​​beef, served with a light maple syrup jus, was truly a delight. I highly recommend it, although I understand that it might seem expensive to some. However, I believe that when you go to a restaurant, you go to enjoy yourself, and above all, I think that for what I ate, the value for money was more than fair. I just found the dessert a little pricey, but then again, all the desserts are the same price, €9.50. So, for those with a bigger sweet tooth, you might want to choose the biggest dessert to get your money's worth, lol. But otherwise, honestly, a restaurant I would recommend without hesitation. The food is really excellent, and the atmosphere and decor are fantastic. A big thank you for this evening. We were the last to leave the restaurant, and the owner didn't rush us out at all; it was 11:30 pm. On Wednesday, he told us to take all the time we needed, that he still had dishes to wash, and not to rush us. Even today, that's really appreciated in a restaurant. A big thank you from the guys at Carrefour Petit clin d'œil :) We'll definitely be back, no problem.

A restaurant with an original decor based, unsurprisingly, on Canada and its culture. The waiter and owner is a character in his own right, very funny and friendly! Going there just to see him is a good idea in itself, but it would be a shame to miss out on the poutines and other delights the restaurant has to offer, which are quite unique in France!

This restaurant is a gem in Metz! My partner and I came on Saturday evening. We received a very warm welcome from the friendly and funny manager! Beyond the service, the setting is excellent, the decor is immersive. And most importantly, the dishes are generous and delicious! Don't miss the royal poutine, which is excellent (like everything else on the menu, apparently). We'll definitely be back!

A truly excellent restaurant! There were seven of us, and no one was disappointed with the service, the drinks, or even the food and desserts. The staff were friendly and very pleasant! We had a wonderful evening.

I've been four times already and I always enjoy returning to Canada'Venture in Metz! The poutine royale is always so generous and delicious, with crispy fries, perfectly melted cheese, and a perfect sauce—it's impossible not to finish it. The apple crumble is a delight for dessert, warm and fruity, just like homemade. The atmosphere is super welcoming; the decor makes you feel a bit like you're in Quebec, and the service is always friendly and welcoming. Thanks again and congratulations to the team! 🫶

I had a wonderful time this Friday for my birthday. The welcome was very warm, the food was delicious and very generous, and the owner is super friendly. I recommend it 200%!
