We had lunch at this typical Canadian restaurant. The welcome, the interior decor, and especially the restrooms are memorable—I won't say more! 😂 The poutine is to die for. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to experience the Canadian atmosphere. We'll be back!

Passing through the area, we ate there with a couple of friends (a party of four). The setting was peaceful, and the welcome and service were excellent. The food was very good; this restaurant was a great find. You could spend hours admiring all the details of the decor. A very enjoyable experience.

Excellent experience from start to finish! The welcome and service were impeccable: warm, attentive, and highly professional. The food was simply incredible; each dish was a true delight. The three-course menu (starter, main, dessert) offers excellent value for money, with very reasonable prices considering the quality. Special mention goes to the absolutely fantastic decor, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A place to recommend without hesitation!

21/04/2026: Recommended by colleagues, Il Vaporetto proves to be a delightful Italian restaurant just beyond the bustle of the city. Visiting as a group of three, we opted for a fish fillet salad, chicken spaghetti in tomato sauce, and a seafood pasta, accompanied by a shared bottle of red wine. The dishes were simple yet executed with confidence—fresh ingredients, balanced flavours, and generous portions. The seafood pasta stood out in particular, rich without being overwhelming, while the chicken tomato spaghetti offered comforting familiarity done right. What truly elevates the experience is the setting and hospitality. The owner’s warm welcome sets the tone, and with a lake park just outside, the atmosphere is calm, quiet, and effortlessly relaxing. It’s an ideal spot for an unhurried meal, where good food and a peaceful environment come together seamlessly.

26/10/2025: First time trying this restaurant because the Japanese place (Nagoya, which we usually order from) was closed today. 50-minute wait for three takeout meals. The food was very good (meatball skewers, maki), but the rice wasn't cooked properly, and the portions were ridiculously small: rice, soup, maki, and sushi. Given that the prices are still quite high, it would be reasonable to at least increase your portion sizes, especially since your food is otherwise good. We won't be ordering from you again, which is a shame because your food is otherwise high quality.
