An exceptional moment in the Northern Cape – 5 well-deserved stars! What a memorable experience at the Cap Nord restaurant! If excellence had faces, it would undoubtedly be those of Modibo, the cook, and Manu, the waiter. Modibo, a true culinary artist, was able to transport us with tasty and beautifully presented dishes. Each bite was an explosion of flavors, a testament to remarkable expertise and palpable passion. His creativity and attention to detail offered us a true gastronomic symphony. For his part, Manu, master of the room, enhanced the experience with impeccable service. His kindness, his infectious smile and his efficiency made all the difference. Always attentive, he anticipated our slightest needs, making us feel like guests of honor. A big thank you to the entire CAP NORD team. We arrive without reservation, Madame welcomes us by informing us that it is not possible that we must come back later (2:30 p.m.), we have 2 young children, it is difficult to keep them at these times. We return earlier than 2:30 p.m. (you never know!), and there our table is prepared. A beautiful menu, full and efficient, the cooks the same (thanks also to them) and the team took great care despite the very eventful end of the year in Wimereux (they kept coming in and out, but always with a smile ) So thank you for this moment! We came across this establishment by chance over Christmas. We looked, nothing was open and then miraculously Cap Nord received us despite a full house. Impeccable welcome, very fresh and tasty cuisine, all this facing the sea and for a more than reasonable value for money. Coming from Belgium we were impressed. Thanks again to the team. Déjeuner très agréable face à la mer. Poisson frais du marché sur purée avec sauce du chef, moules marinières excellentes, service impeccable, addition correcte. Merci !!!

My sole was slightly overcooked - perhaps because I'd spent time walking back to the car to feed the meter - service was a little slow and unsure, it may have been her first day, but this is a great spot to sit and watch the world go by on the busy beach at Wimereux. And they serve decent food without a break from lunch to supper ! Almost unheard of in France, where all food except for sticky sweets stops after 2 in the afternoon. They deserve 4 stars for that alone.
