Captain sur Landeda

A very nice crêperie; we were lucky enough to get a window seat with a sea view! The atmosphere and decor are themed, the staff are friendly, there might have been a slight wait, but overall we had a very good time. The crêpes/galettes are good. No parking, but there are spaces nearby.

Everyone gathered, tourists and obviously many locals seem to be regulars there, family atmosphere, hearty dishes, we had a great time, thank you.

Great location, sea view. Great atmosphere, pleasant and well-equipped service. The crepes (main course and dessert) were very good. Be careful, though, with the pepper on the tartiflette crepe (really loaded).

That day, I had settled down at Captain's in Landéda, with my family, casually, just to have a buckwheat crepe. People had often spoken to me about the place, like they talk about a fishing port or a bistro where the wine is served a little redder than elsewhere, with eyes that sparkle in anticipation: "You'll see... you'll see..." Ah, women... When they love a place... So I'm talking about my "wife" who finally leads me to this place. And then, when it came time to order, the smiling waitress slipped me a "house" terrine as a suggestion of the day. A terrine! I, who had thought I would simply munch on buckwheat and drink a simple glass of water... found myself plunging my spoon into this terrine like a child opening a treasure trove. Well, my friends, I'll tell you straight: I received a slap in the face, but one of those that awakens your soul. The best terrine I've tasted in years, a terrine of a happy peasant, of a grandmother who sings while stirring her pot, of sea and countryside married in the same pot. And then came the crepe. A buckwheat crepe, salmon and leek fondue. Ah! A poem that crackles and melts, a poem that smells of Brittany like a mistral smells of the garrigue. I had before me a crepe that reminded me that a dish, when it's made with love, can console you for everything: the end of the month, the grayness, the news. In short, "Captain" in Landéda is a simply precious address, a business card that you never lose in your wallet.
