Original and friendly Canadian restaurant in the center of Poitiers. Nice decor. Not very dietary but original. Be careful with desserts almost only with maple syrup. You absolutely must book in advance.

Canadian bar as nice as ever. Surf n Turf with prawns and beef is great. Prawns flambéed with whiskey also accompanied by risotto

As with every visit, the welcome is warm, the atmosphere is very pleasant. The poutines are plentiful and good, for dessert we had a gourmet coffee which was also well stocked with cakes. We ate very well. A safe address.

Quite simply my favorite bar in Poitiers! The cocktails are very good, the maple beer and cranberry beer are excellent and at very good prices. The poutines are effective, the burgers are great and what can we say about the tiramisu which is divine. Finally, the Canadian atmosphere is there. In short, essential!

Great discovery, atypical and warm decor. The maple syrup cake is killer. Being able to select your custom poutine is great and the portions are generous.

The only fault I've found so far is that it's too small for the scale that this restaurant-pub deserves to have in my eyes. The food is good, the choice of drinks is more than adequate and the staff is nice and pleasant. I really recommend it. Students, come here for your evenings, pro tips.

Parfait endroit pour boire un coup et manger si besoin. De la bonne bière pression et pour ceux qui le souhaitent un peu de sirop d'érable en plus.

Ambiance sympa, déco dépaysante et chaleureusement québécoise, bon petit repas abordable, personnel sympa. Quand je vois certains commentaires avec 1 étoile et "gratuits", j'avoue ne pas comprendre... Bravo le Caribou, on reviendra !

01/04/2024: A setting that is always there, with truly top-notch service, attentive and attentive. However, we were very, very disappointed with the cuisine, having been in the habit of coming to the archives for several years, we absolutely did not recognize the gourmet and tasty dishes that we are usually served. Indeed as a starter, the roasted scallops are €21, we had 3 very small scallops (without the coral), with just spinach leaves. For the dish, the ground was very good! The products are always very well chosen, however accompanied by just a vegetable julienne on top, without seasoning. The desserts, however, are still just as good! In the end a meal for 200 euros for three, with immense disappointment... for the quantity and the non-work of the products, which do not reflect the seriousness and the flavor that we usually know from the archives.
30/03/2024: Quite simply one of the best restaurants in the region. Fresh and organic products. Perfect service in a beautiful location. An ideal stopover in all seasons.
