14/04/2026: Amazing service and atmosphere. We ate here in the afternoon and it was extremely cheap for the portions we got. The food was not spectacular but still a very nice place to go and eat bistro food.

09/04/2026: I went to Le Montagnard for my son's wedding anniversary this evening. We were warmly welcomed by the very friendly waiter who explained all the options clearly. We ordered a raclette for three and my husband had a pierrade. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end; the food was delicious, and my husband's meat was incredibly tender. It was my first time there, but I will definitely go back. I highly recommend this establishment; the food is fantastic.

29/03/2026: The meal was very good, but the waiter made misogynistic jokes several times. A few examples overheard in the dining room: "What's your name, miss? Ha! That's my dog's name!" ... "Do you know the difference between a woman and a terrorist?" etc... It didn't make me laugh; it actually annoyed me. We didn't say anything, we left before dessert, and we won't be back.

However, the waiters practically ushered us out, barely managing to take the couscous out of our mouths…

It's a shame it's not closer to home! A perfect stopover between Paris and the southwest.

28/10/2025: A very pleasant place to have a drink on the banks of the Clain, ideal for a summer day at lunchtime or in the evening. The cuisine is original and fresh. The service is a little young, but that's not a problem.
21/09/2025: A perfect evening. The staff was incredibly attentive, the dishes were delicious and perfectly cooked (which is rare for fish). This is a restaurant you absolutely must try, in a bucolic setting and at a reasonable price considering the quality of the food. The short menu changes monthly. Unfortunately, the dessert isn't in the photos because we devoured it before we even thought to photograph it...
