A truly authentic Chinese restaurant, with a chef and a menu that extends far beyond Cantonese cuisine. The wide selection of dishes isn't a sign of poor quality, but rather a reflection of a culture where offering abundant diversity is paramount. While you can eat on a budget by choosing a set menu, the ideal experience is to explore the à la carte menu and share a selection of dishes with your companions. You'll find classic dishes as well as rarities: jellyfish salad (don't hesitate, it's fresh, mouthwatering, and not spicy!), fried squid, frog legs (not just a French dish!), pig's ear salad, squid stir-fry, and more. The cuisine is primarily Szechuan, but not exclusively; for example, they offer a Beijing specialty of small rice pancakes filled with minced pork and a few vegetables, similar to a taco. From all kinds of tripe to scallops, from potato salad (crispy and surprising) to whole sea bass, you can explore
Chinese cuisine from its most popular dishes to its most luxurious, and it's a good opportunity to reflect on the relationship between your taste buds and the price of the ingredients used. In any case, when the food is well-prepared, which is the case here, where, frankly, if you have an open mind, everything is good.
Is this restaurant perfect, then? No; the decor, for example, isn't amazing, but it's practical and well-maintained. The tables are a bit small, but if it's not busy, they never hesitate to seat two people at a table for four, and the chairs are comfortable. The presentation of the dishes will never be Instagram-worthy, but honestly, if you're Chinese, you find all this effort in French cuisine a bit questionable and wonder if the chef wouldn't be better off focusing all that energy on the precision of the cuts, the accuracy of the cooking: on the flavor.
Otherwise, the service is quick. Plenty of vegetarian options. Two locations on either side of the street. (Check the other one if one is full.) A few Chinese drinks, including beers. On the other hand, a selection of unpretentious French wines: Guigal Côtes du Rhône, Tavel, Gewürztraminer. For the more curious, the entire menu is available on their website, from appetizers to desserts, including their drinks.
In short, a restaurant I go to again and again.

What can I say about price, quality, and authenticity? A rare combination, currently perfectly situated.
