Who needs a supermarkets when you have places like this. Fresh, local food of all descriptions. Why can't Scotland or the UK in general have town markets like this. Have we become too frightened of what real food looks like and smells like. Worth a visit every day you are in Biarritz.

These luxurious Halles are a paradise for gourmets, everything is well stocked, the atmosphere is that of a chic market! Quick meals, seafood and land, meats, caterers... A little narrow, but that encourages conviviality! The only downside is the prices... But I recommend! Long live Biarritz!
