Excellent dinner in a beautiful square, friendly staff, and excellent food. Camembert and brandade, and a large platter of duck delicacies!

A warm welcome awaits you. Gilles, the owner, will seat you wherever you like, sun or shade, on the terrace with a view of the Maison Carrée. There's also an air-conditioned dining room inside. The food is always excellent: salads, fish and chips, gardianne (a traditional Provençal stew), beef skewers, cheeseburgers, and giant prawns—all delicious and good value for money. We've been happily returning since 2024.

We ate for 2, the service was perfect, the servers are attentive and really enjoy their job, the food is top-notch and the setting is great opposite the Maison Carrée, I recommend it.

Pleasantly surprised by the establishment. A warm and very attentive welcome, both for our comfort and for welcoming our children. We didn't choose haute cuisine, but we definitely got our money's worth. We're cocktail enthusiasts and we tried four different ones; the alcohol content wasn't excessive, but generous compared to many tourist spots. I recommend it.

To make a long story short, extremely kind and funny, very good food, and an ideal setting! Highly recommended! To make a long story short... We were looking for a restaurant to eat at lunchtime yesterday during a family visit to Nîmes, and a very kind man came over to us and explained the concept of his menu as we were looking at it. His kindness made us come back less than two minutes later. And how right he was, because it was truly a wonderful experience! The setting is very pleasant (on the Place de la Maison Carrée), and they were incredibly kind, taking great care of us and my two daughters (providing equipment, a parasol, adapting the menu if needed...). And as incredible as it may seem, they started a water fight with my eldest, who is four years old, and she had a blast attacking them with the water pistols they lent her and refilled very, very often! And let's not forget the food! We ordered the €15 "freshness platter" and honestly, it was delicious and quite generous! They also have a very nice whisky collection! And as we were leaving, they even refilled my daughters' water bottles with ice-cold water! In any case, we'll definitely be back when we're next in Nîmes! If only for the kindness and the pleasure of spending another pleasant time with such wonderful people! Thank you all for this fantastic experience! 🤗
