Return in October 2026: It's great here, see the review below, and the photos. March: We recommend it for the welcome, the atmosphere, the food, and the prices—it's all so unusual! It's warm, the staff are friendly, everything is homemade, with a clear commitment to impeccable freshness—it's really quite unusual! Go there before others do ;-)

It's a shame we don't live in Nîmes, otherwise we could eat there more often. The prawns with risotto, the endive with ham, and the classic burger were all simply superb. The Domaine d'Aigues Belles wine was the perfect finishing touch.

The food is excellent!! I had the daily special, thinly sliced ​​hanger steak with basmati rice and ratatouille—simple but truly delicious. My wife had the risotto with prawns, cuttlefish, and crisp vegetables—absolutely divine!!! The gourmet coffee is incredible. A place to remember; we'll be back!

Honestly excellent, really tasty food - service could be quicker/more accurate but we were a big table and they accommodated us without a booking. Meat eaters, veggies and kids. Super!

A delightful surprise! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from aperitif to dessert; everything is homemade, the dishes are carefully prepared and well-seasoned, the service is very pleasant, and located on a shady side street, we didn't even need to go inside for the air conditioning. The daily special, salmon tartare with homemade fries, was delicious, but the cuttlefish and prawn risotto was just as good! We'll definitely be back next time we're in Nîmes; this is an address to remember!

A wonderful discovery! I had the "Bizarre" salad, a dish as beautiful as it was delicious, with squid ink tagliatelle. The presentation was impeccable, the ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were spot on. The setting is pleasant, and the staff is fantastic—smiling and cheerful. I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend it!

21/09/2026: We felt like we were welcomed into their home. The dining room is warm and decorated with tasteful splashes of bulls and character sketches. The food was balanced with fine tuned accents of various seasonings. All humble, but distinctive. The server repeatedly referenced "homemade," as he guided us through the options. There were, maybe, 10 main courses. Which is about right, when a restaurant cares enough to make your meal to their liking. You'll like it, too! Our server hustled to manage the room, but we were always well attended to. He took his time with us to make sure we understood our order (the menu was in French. Of course!) He carefully explained the nuances of each dish. Each of which, met our expectations and then some. If you like a quiet meal, with just enough buzz in the room to feel like you're in good company. If you like selections that makes fast friends with taste buds. If you like a kind smile and a patient server - Le Bouchon des Greffes is your place!
20/09/2026: What a surprise for bull lovers! Sausage (excellent), Gardienne (to die for!), and bull rib (next time). The bone marrow and snail casserole were super good. As for the service, the waiter was very friendly and efficient despite the crowd. An excellent place, especially since the setting is beautiful!

29/09/2026: Chosen on a whim, what luck! A warm, almost familial, but friendly welcome. The staff are very sociable. The only slight drawback was that we received our starter and hot main course at the same time. This wasn't a big deal since the starter was cold, so it didn't bother us. There were a few minor communication hiccups, but mistakes happen, and life is good. On the other hand, I was pleasantly surprised by the speed at which the dishes arrived, and by their delicious taste. I recommend it. The prices are reasonable considering the current economic climate.
24/09/2026: We had the brandade which is delicious with nice pieces of salted cod you could actually taste compared to some other brandades I’ve had in the area.Also had the local bull stew sorry can’t remember what it’s called, but melted in the mouth in a delicious gravy with creamy mashed potatoes accompanied with a chilled glass of red wine recommended by our server.Friendly welcome and lovely staff with a view of the magnificent temple also reasonably priced.Didn’t try the dessert but there’s always next time.More power to your elbow as we say in the UK
