04/09/2024: Moment of pure happiness. Everything was perfect, the dishes beautiful and delicious, the service pleasant and friendly. Very very affordable weekday meal for excellent quality given that it is a gastro. Remember to book and you will have a pleasant time. Thanks to the whole team.

14/07/2024: Back at La Calèche. A beautiful residence in the heart of the village. Two and three course “pleasure” menu for us this time. The experience was less than our first visit. The appetizers were good but no discoveries in terms of flavors. A nice starter based on langoustines. The ravioli was unfortunately a little dry but had lovely flavors. The main fish dish had a lot of flavor in it. A little too much for my taste. A variation around the artichoke (in pieces and in cream) and the tomato would have made it more readable. For me the pea puree, dried ham shavings and asparagus were too much. Disappointment on the meat side. A well presented plate but rather bland morels and a beef cheek compote that was not very spicy and not necessary in addition to the beef fillet. Good full-bodied meat juice. When it comes to desserts, this restaurant always thinks big, like during our first visit. Special mention for the first dessert with chocolate sauce. A real pleasure. The dessert plate in three variations around mint won less support. The bread is very good. The portions are quite generous and once the desserts are served, you should no longer be hungry. The service was rather cold this time. The two young waitresses were not very friendly and presented the dishes without “soul”. If the restaurant wants to earn stars, it will have to work on this aspect as well as the presentation of the menu and the quality of the cutlery. The plates are carefully chosen to highlight each dish. A beautiful table in this beautiful village.
