Carre Petanque Obut sur Saint-Bonnet-Le-Chateau

Third visit, as a couple, to this unique restaurant with its original concept. Despite the heatwave outside, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the air conditioning was well-regulated. The service was efficient and friendly, with well-supervised young trainees. ;) Good value for money; I was pleasantly surprised by the refinement and flavors of the dishes. And to finish, a quick visit to the shop, where the welcome was very pleasant and professional. Definitely worth a visit.

A truly inventive and unique restaurant, the dishes are delicious and original, the service is impeccable, the welcome is perfect and friendly, and the entire team is genuinely attentive to the well-being of their guests, offering solutions for those with food intolerances, particularly gluten intolerance. The signature dessert is absolutely delicious. It was a real pleasure to dine there and then play a game of pétanque afterwards. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time at Carré Obut. We received a very warm welcome with our 2CVs. The atmosphere was great, especially with the pétanque tournament (the tips for becoming a top pétanque player were really helpful!). The meal was marvelous, and the service was impeccable.

I went there to buy boules balls. The saleswoman was friendly, competent, and very helpful. The restaurant didn't understand us because we didn't speak French, and we didn't get any coffee. But that didn't bother us too much. I now have wonderful new balls.

We came on May 2nd for a birthday celebration. We received a very warm welcome, the food was excellent, and the waiters and waitresses were fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful day; we will be back!

The value for money was disappointing; the portions were tiny for menu prices reaching up to 37 euros. The saddest thing was the chef pacing back and forth in the dining room without even a glance or a simple greeting to the diners. If I may say so, it's the patrons who pay his salary. Overall, a very mixed experience, despite the potential for a truly beautiful establishment.
