Casa Italia sur Lourdes

A group of 16 without a reservation was welcomed by a staff that was both professional and helpful. Good pizzas, tasty dishes, and an unforgettable Sambuca to finish. All in all, excellent in a location that caters to more touristy eateries.

Quick service, even though the place was almost full. Friendly and professional, excellent pizza! We returned after 11 months and I stand by what I wrote!

Really nice restaurant, the pizzas are just amazing and they really fill you up! However, the salad wasn't washed and some of the glasses were dirty.

Delicious Italian food, good portions, and great value. The gluten-free pasta was amazing. Highly recommended.

We were visiting Lourdes for a few days and wanted a pizza and beer. We had tried a few restaurants coming from the grotto and they were closing. This pizza restaurant wasn't our first choice due to the reviews but when we came down the hill into the restaurant it was very busy which is a good sign. We got a seat more or less straight away. After about 10 minutes there was a queue. There is seating inside including upstairs and on the terrace. The waiters were very busy but looked to be getting through the orders. The two guys on the pizza oven were also very busy but were also pumping out the pizzas. The most popular dish was pizza. Not sure of the wait for a dish other than a pizza. My wife ordered a Margarita and I ordered a Piccante. We ordered two large beers also. Both pizzas looked exactly the same when they came out but my spicy salami was under the cheese. My wife said her pizza had too much cheese. I enjoyed my pizza as it had a nice spicy taste.. The restaurant was still busy when we left. The large beers were expensive but had to remind ourselves that we were now in France and not Spain where we had just come from. In fairness the pizza price were normal. Total was €37.20 paid by card at the bar.

Everything was great, the service was excellent. We ordered spaghetti carbonara and a capricciosa pizza and it was spectacular.

Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 1:00 PM We were served by a very kind and attentive young blonde woman with an Italian accent, despite the staff shortage and the fact that she received complaints from other customers due to the long wait. During this pilgrimage period, the number of servers should not be reduced, especially to avoid burnout and tension with customers.
