Castel Cafe et Gourmandise sur Carcassonne

It was the most mediocre brunch I had in my entire life, when I arrived I was hungry but it was when I saw my plate that everything stopped. I really invite the restaurant to redo its entire menu because €40 for 2 people with a plate without fresh produce is a SCAM.

We had a nice break here. The service was super nice, the coffee was delicious and my daughter liked the bread. Together with a bottle of water we only paid €18. Relatively cheap for France, in such a tourist hotspot. Excellent.

Excellent time at the Castel. The avocado toast is super good, especially the salmon €12.50 for an xxl toast 😻 and the homemade tiramisu is just crazy, thank you for this lovely moment. Service a little long due to the crowd but once the dishes are at the table everything is forgotten. See you soon and good luck girls

Excellent service and good food at this little café. My friend has coeliac disease and must not eat any gluten. Castel café were so helpful. They understand the needs of coeliacs and offered several options. Our meal was beautifully presented and very tasty. Very friendly owner.

What to say ? Girls need publicity! 5 days in Carcassonne and 5 cozy days with the girls where we also eat with our eyes! For breakfast, lunch and snack, excellent, beautiful presentation, fresh produce and the crazy avocado toast Thank you girls and see you soon

We stopped here after castling about and ordered a quiche. It was sensational and delivered into our mouths with a smile.
