Castel Damandre sur Les Planches-Pres-Arbois

🙂🙂An absolutely exceptional experience at Castel Damandre in the Jura! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Mathilde, whose professionalism, smile, and attentiveness truly made our visit memorable. The welcome and service were worthy of a true 5-star hotel, warm and impeccable from beginning to end. The setting is simply idyllic, an exceptional place nestled in nature that makes the experience even more magical. Everything is in place for an unforgettable stay. A remarkable place that we wholeheartedly recommend. We will definitely be back!

We came for a weekend, very nice hikes 🌲 The welcome at the hotel was impeccable 👍🏼 Dinner in the restaurant was very good, with excellent ingredients. 🐠 🍫 A slight drawback was the breakfast, which could have focused more on local products.

I only went to the restaurant. The decor is gorgeous. The servers were smiling, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. The presentation was stunning. The taste was amazing. The portion size was just right; once you've eaten everything, you're not hungry anymore, but you're not stuffed. There weren't many menu or dish choices, but everything was perfectly prepared. I can't wait to come back and try the next dish with my son, who introduced me to the place since he's studying culinary arts at the Lycée Fryant in Arbois. It's beautiful, it's delicious, and the value for money is unbeatable.

My father and I came for a weekend to enjoy the Jura region and its cuisine, and we weren't disappointed. The hotel is charming and clean, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel restaurant was also very good, with very professional and friendly waiters (and even quite funny ones—I've forgotten his name). There are lovely walks to be had nearby. We'll cherish the memories! Thank you so much.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with their December 31st menu, despite having said that we had guests who did not eat seafood, and they made no effort to accommodate the customer's needs, for having spent a very large sum of money....

A wonderful experience. The location is beautiful, just steps from the Tufs waterfalls. The rooms are simple but very charming, and the bed was very comfortable. The meal was simply exceptional.
