Castor Bellux sur Dinard

Decent service. Nice setting. However, a good part of the team gets their heads upside down on the terrace after the service, with no respect for the neighbors and guys who leave drunk in their cars, honking their horns and squealing their tires. Disrespectful and dangerous.

To begin with, we were lucky enough to be accepted late because my friend also works in the restaurant industry. Our experience at this restaurant was quite enjoyable. We attended two birthday parties with music, lights going off, and candles everywhere! We tried two different pasta dishes that we shared together, and they were delicious, and lived up to our expectations. The truffle one was delicious, the service was quite fast, and the staff was pleasant. The gourmet coffee was just as good, except for the very strange and bland strawberry cake. A great place to try, we recommend it and will gladly return!

At Castor, it's always better. The John Dory on a cauliflower purée, cooked to a pearly finish, we're at a gourmet restaurant with the Castor ambiance. Chef, make us some more fish, you cook it so well. And what about the Strawberry Charlotte? It's a classic.

Absolutely exceptional. We were looking for a nice, not-too-stuffed place to eat pizza. The owner welcomed us with genuine and extremely friendly warmth. We arrived a little late and without a reservation for the dinner service - but no problem finding a table and managing. The waitresses (yes, all women) took turns offering a kind word, a small gesture, a joke. In short, discreet, pleasant, and friendly service, just the way we like it every time... but unfortunately, we're forced to admit that it's less and less good than at Castor Bellux. And that's without mentioning the pizzas. And the wine. The pizzas were absolutely incredible. And generously sized, with plenty of good-quality ingredients. In short, a real success. The wine wasn't a great vintage, but there are excellent bottles at very reasonable prices - and that's exactly what this restaurant managed to achieve. Finally, the painful part. Well, even then, it went down well... just enough to not only avoid leaving a bitter taste (the kind you don't share with your wife because it's not done, but that everyone has in mind when leaving to know if it was worth it or not) but also to tell ourselves that we'll come back. And to tell ourselves that really the Castor Bellux in Dinard is really something.
