This was the highlight of our tour of the lakes and mountains of Auvergne. The Central Hotel is one of those establishments that have sadly disappeared from our landscape. Simply decorated, in a style reminiscent of a time when time flowed more slowly, allowing us to savor the present moment. Special mention goes to the cuisine, rich and indulgent, delighting the palates of visitors, especially hikers like ourselves.
We had a wonderful stay at this charming, old-fashioned, family-run hotel.
