A cobbled alley in old Paris in the heart of the 6th arrondissement. A tempting card. A reasonably priced lunch menu. A little less in the evening... to discover to have a good time
The ravioli, the 7 a.m. leg of lamb. Yum

Excellent food and service. For appetizers we tried the burrata, escargots, and l’œuf cocotte - all were great. For the main dish we got L’agneau - which was cooked 7 hours and tasted sublime (although I usually don’t eat much lamb). Le poulet and le boeuf bourguignon were amazing as well. The ambience is cozy and welcoming - best to reserve a table ahead of time as it tends to be busy.

Cozy atmosphere, the servers are friendly and the food is very good. I recommend the revisited beef bourguignon and the onion soup which are excellent!

Do not miss!!! So rare to find homemade and generous cuisine at an affordable price, especially in this part of Paris!
Thanks to the whole team!

Rather mixed experience at Cèpe et Figue. We came for lunch on a Saturday lunchtime, the menu prices are very reasonable considering the quality/quantity and especially the neighborhood. The dishes offered are good brasserie classics, and the choice is quite varied: meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, there is something for everyone!
We loved the starters, well prepared and tasty. As for the dishes, they were quite good and generous overall but often too salty... especially for the dishes with sauce (beef bourguignon, cromesquis), and the fish and fish, too acidic a seasoning... it's a shame.
There were quite a few people, and unfortunately the service at the end of our lunch tarnished our experience in the restaurant. Barely after finishing our dishes, we were handed the bill to proceed with payment, even though we had barely served dessert to my friend. A few moments later, the waiter came back telling us that he needed the table, we made it clear that we had to hurry to leave, my friend had just finished her dessert...
A word to the wise.
(note that the tables are quite close to each other, and there is quite a bit of noise in the restaurant)

My favorite, and so far, the best French restaurant in Paris. A family-run, non-touristy endearing restaurant with great food, and an amazing lunch menu deal. Some of their regulars dishes like the Mechoui (slow cooked lamb) are great while they also have seasonal and daily specials, including desserts (the rosemary and apricot ice cream on one occassion). A hidden gem among the many Parisian places in that area.

3 words: NOTHING TO SAY.
The quality of the food is incredible, restaurants where you have an appointment with taste.
The desserts are to die for.
I can only recommend.

Located in a historic street in Paris, arriving at the place is pleasant. The setting is warm and cozy. We had a good time with friends. The service is a little impersonal, and the cooking could be improved: the egg casserole was overcooked and too salty. The duck was pretty good and the desserts too. The prices are fair. We have seen this place a lot on the networks, but it is not worth the hype. Quite touristy.
