C'est la vie Abbeville sur Abbeville

Thanks again to Tristant for having us! You're a lovely person, very kind and always smiling! Your explanations were impeccable!! You deserve 5 stars! You took care of the garage door issue right away, thank you again for everything! However, on Sunday morning, February 15th, we were practically treated like thieves by the receptionist! For breakfast! Because supposedly our payments from the previous day hadn't been recorded! Never! Someone approached us, claiming we were a group of 8 people for a weekend in the Somme Bay area. Anyway!

Despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, it was opened twice during our stay. Furthermore, when we left our room, a housekeeping cart was parked right outside our door. The staff seemed very eager for us to leave the room, even though we had checked out an hour before our scheduled departure time.

Central location. Very friendly staff. Rooms could use some updating.

The hotel is clean but a bit dated and could use a renovation. The food is okay, but it doesn't necessarily taste homemade. There are probably better and cheaper options nearby.

We'd booked an apartment with Booking.com in cental Abbeville for a one night stopover on the way to the Biarritz area. We arrived around 6:30p.m but by 7:30 p.m we had left after discovering cockroaches. Spotted the Mercure nearby and thankfully were able to book a family room in this clean, elegant hotel. What began as an unpleasant, stressful start to our holiday ended up being relaxed and comfortable. Thanks Mercure!
