This place is the gem of bedarieux and coming here ended up being the highlight of our France trip. The food and wine were locally sourced, authentic and delicious, and the hospitality from Maxine and Christine was unmatched: We celebrated a friends birthday meal here and they went out of their way to make the occasion extra special. We were so grateful we stumbled across this place and I highly recommend you take the time to go if you are nearby.

You simply must visit this awe inspiring hidden gem. Food so wholeheartedly complete, made not only with the most fabulous ingredients but also a great deal of passion. Christine's food rivals that of any top restaurant in the country, and the woman herself is nothing short of a wonder - with whom it was a delight to share the company of. The shining jewel in the crown of this restaurant is without a doubt Christine's ample bio-organic/natural wine selection - with local bottles on offer that you cannot find anywhere else in the world. Earnestly, the most amazing selection of wines I have ever tasted - the information of which was expertly translated by the most amazing friend of the bar/regular and now good friend of ours Maxime (without whom the night would not be complete - a true asset to the town with a spectacular array of knowledge on the drinks served who seemed fated to be drinking there the same night). If there was any reason for me to return to this part of France, it would simply be to revisit this magical little place - a cultural experience like no other and one I won't forget any time soon. Having recently moved to the area, we were looking for somewhere to eat after a movie on Saturday night. The town center was deserted and rather dreary. We discovered this wine bar where we received a warm welcome. We enjoyed a delicious meal in a friendly atmosphere. Thank you!

The magic of a suspended moment, outside of time! Thanks to Christine's generosity and her wine selection, especially the profound wines of Léon Barral... That evening, we also had two musicians. We came on a recommendation, and we'll be back! Only 4 stars for the food, because that's not what we came for, but the chocolate cake was AMAZING... 😜
