Very good experience at chalet la maline.
The sunny terrace is a real plus after a good walk to unwind.
Comfortable dormitory bed, good and hearty meals in a friendly atmosphere with other hikers.
The next day breakfast was good too.
The hosts gave us advice on hiking and we had a great picnic: lentil salad, cheese, bread, pompot and cereal bar.
Perched on the heights at the epicenter of the Gorges du Verdon, this FFCAM refuge is conveniently located on the crest route, at the convergence of the Blanc-Martel, Bastidon and Imbut trails. It allows you to stop for a snack, a night or more.
The dinners are generous, refined, varied and adapted to diets.
For those used to shelters, this one is more like a hostel, in terms of its comfort and ease of access.
Beyond the panorama, the comfort and the gastronomy, I would especially like to highlight the particularly warm and generous welcome, as well as the wise advice from the caretakers!
We had an extraordinary short stay, the charming welcome, the delicious meals and the breathtaking location. A big thank you to this team, we highly recommend the place.
We spent one night with half board in this chalet, great, very warm welcome, comfortable bedding, we ate very well, the dishes suitable for vegetarians were excellent, all homemade. Enough to be in shape to hike on the Blanc-Martel trail.
