We came to stay with our 10-year-old daughter. The place is absolutely magical, clean, and the owners are incredibly kind. The evening meal was generous and homemade, as was the breakfast. We will definitely return and highly recommend it.

Cozy terrace with a very beautiful view

A fantastic lunch stop! A very warm welcome, breathtaking views of the gorges, and most importantly, a delicious homemade meal with excellent value for money and quality ingredients. I highly recommend this stop along the ridge road, which is well worth the detour rather than the main road.

A glass of water and mint at the end of the journey is all you need.

A splendid and sensational site and view, efficient and friendly staff, an excellent lunch (SW salad, burger, chocolate fondant, crumble = top) while being without competition around, they could do much less well without being full, a great place as we like it.

A wonderful experience at Chalet de la Maline! The refuge is ideally located, with absolutely magnificent views from both the terrace and the bedroom. The bedding is clean, comfortable, and more than adequate before and after a great day of hiking. We went as a group of two mothers with our 12-year-old daughters for their very first mountain refuge experience. The staff was truly exceptional: warm, attentive, and responsive. They understood our concerns and made this first experience very pleasant, reassuring, and comfortable for them. Two nights that we will cherish. We highly recommend it and will gladly return!
