A wonderful time. It felt like we were eating at Grandma's, with her cold roast beef, potatoes, and a bowl of salad. Everything you could want from a truly special experience. A hearty and delicious meal. Simple and welcoming.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – An exceptional L’Ayze fondue! I enjoyed the L’Ayze fondue at Chalet du Lignon, and it was simply delicious. The cheese was melted perfectly, with just the right amount of cheese, and a rich, authentic flavor. A generous, comforting fondue, and certainly one of the best I've ever had. A true pleasure from start to finish!

Two days of trekking in the Alps, waking up with a bear's appetite. The Chalet du Lignon promised us the comfort of a hiker with its postcard-perfect panorama and dreamy terrace. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere, perfect. Then came THE €19 tartiflette. Hidden in my adorable but pathetically tiny mini-cocotte was what looked more like a tasting sample than a mountain dish. The irony? My neighbor at the table was enjoying the "same" tartiflette in a dish twice its size. Had I ordered the children's version without realizing it? Three bites, and it was over. My hiker's hunger, however, remained perfectly intact. Luckily, there was unlimited bread; I needed two baskets to compensate for this homeopathic portion. Apparently, eating one's fill at the Chalet du Lignon is now a game of chance: I should have asked if I had to scratch a ticket at the entrance. Le Chalet du Lignon has mastered the art of decor and service, but seems to have forgotten that a €19 tartiflette should feed an adult human, not decorate a play kitchen.

We had a great time at Chalet du Lignon! Loïc is a top-notch chef, passionate and welcoming. The meals were homemade and delicious, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The setting is traditional and authentic, perfect for a gourmet break in the mountains. I highly recommend it!
