Chalet Hotel le Collet sur Xonrupt-Longemer

Good chalet, rooms a bit small to my taste. Excellent base to explore the area.

We went to the spa at night. It was great, limited crowds, and a very good cocktail reception.

We had a very pleasant stay overall at the Chalet Hôtel Le Collet & Spa, mainly thanks to its remarkable spa, which offers a soothing setting and high-quality facilities. The breakfast is excellent, varied, and plentiful. The restaurant is pleasant and well-maintained, and the service is impeccable, but I expected a slightly higher standard, especially knowing it's run by a renowned chef. The food is still very good, but the experience didn't quite live up to the expectations raised by its reputation. The value for money leaves something to be desired. The bedding was too firm, causing back pain upon waking, and the soundproofing is inadequate, as some noises can be heard from the room. Furthermore, one of the bathroom outlets wasn't working, a problem already mentioned in previous reviews, which is regrettable. In conclusion, the experience remains enjoyable, but at the standard rate, it doesn't fully justify the price. Some improvements would be welcome.

Location, authenticity, quality of service—nothing to complain about. The suite was spacious, although a bit noisy on the ground floor (footsteps above). It's a shame we didn't have a room upstairs with a view. Meals and breakfasts were excellent. We'd definitely come back.

Excellent choice for a spa hotel. The restaurant was also very good. Special mention to the staff who were truly welcoming and friendly. I will gladly return.

A wonderful discovery, a real treat for the taste buds.

We stayed at Hotel Le Collet for three nights in total: two in a junior suite and one in a comfort room, both in the renovated section. Both rooms were beautifully decorated, although we naturally preferred the junior suite because of the extra space and the bathtub. Both rooms had a spacious balcony, but what I'll remember most is the rain shower; it felt like standing under a waterfall of pure spring water. Wonderful! The hotel is perfectly located, centrally located between several charming mountain villages and ski slopes. We also thoroughly enjoyed the wellness area: a very beautiful and well-equipped wellness area, with all the amenities you would expect. We also had a few drinks in the stylish bar. The cocktails and wines were of very high quality and beautifully presented. People who complain about the price of €13 for a cocktail or gin are clearly not realistic; this is a very normal price, especially considering the quality. In our region around Maastricht, they are often even more expensive. The wines, by the way, were truly excellent. We also tried the "menu of the moment," and it was absolutely delicious. The menu could use some fine-tuning here and there, but it's definitely worth it. We visited several restaurants in the area, but this one clearly stood out. The service was excellent; we were truly catered to. Thanks to the entire team for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back!

How can I describe it… a complete change of scenery right on my doorstep! An exceptional setting, top-notch staff, sensational cuisine, and… the icing on the cake: snow at midnight… on my birthday… Pure bliss…
