Chateau de Fontager sur Ponsas

Hello everyone, Just to let you know that 2 days after the post was published, I was informed by email of the reimbursement of tickets by Weese...!!🙂 Having failed to contact the Château de Fontager by telephone to notify them, I sent them an email. Everything is in order and that will not prevent us from returning there because we appreciate this place of tranquility and calm. Not back for 20 years...the charm has worked again...

The setting is superb, the swimming pool enormous! I recommend for a night or 2, in stopover mode. The “gastro” restaurant is very nice, as is the restaurant on the terrace. The strong point is the quality/price ratio of the rooms and the swimming pool. On the other hand, the train line in the immediate vicinity is really detrimental.

No air conditioning in our room and very poorly organized during the event at the end of summer, the hotel guests did not even have a place at the swimming pool and a bit limited being in France and not not speak our language at all… Despite this we still had a good time!

It's magnificent, well served, a must see for a meal.

Unlucky to come across a heatwave and the lack of air conditioning in the rooms + an infestation of mosquitoes at the swimming pool made our stay uncomfortable, despite the charm of the place

Top place to stop on the way to/back from the south! Spacious, recently renovated rooms, lovely and gigantic swimming pool with comfortable beds, small but well-priced menu with local products: exactly what you need while traveling! Games available, towels for the pool: everything has been thought of! Only the breakfast was a bit meager, and more attention could be paid to whether everything was still there (plates, toppings). But we will definitely come back!

Extremely cozy place. Lovely surroundings. Fantastic food. Nice pool and calm atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit. The room a little small and worn. The gin and tonic was a little thin otherwise everything was top notch.
