Chateau de Fontager sur Ponsas

An absolutely perfect stay! The castle is magnificent, the room spacious and elegant, and every detail exudes charm and serenity. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, a true delight to start the day. The staff were wonderful from beginning to end: attentive, smiling, and always responsive to our needs. A truly wonderful discovery that I highly recommend. We will definitely return!

We stayed at Chateau de Fontager for 4 days. From start to finish we were greeted by friendly staff who were ready to help with everything. Nice rooms, clean and tidy. Lovely breakfast served in the most beautiful surroundings (the Bistro). We ate at Chant de la Source (the hotel's gourmet restaurant) and WAUW! Absolutely fantastic experience. From the food to the service - thank you for the experience. We will definitely be back!

The teas are perfect, the service impeccable, the decor fabulous, the vegetarian dishes excellent and beautifully presented. No complaints about the price. The history of the place deserves to be highlighted.

It was a cool, very beautiful place, but here, two single beds pushed together as a double bed... what a shame!

A timeless place, very pleasant and warm

Magnificent castle, very good stay

Where to start...? The hotel is beautiful, that's obvious. But the service we received was exquisite. We were treated very well, and the entire hotel staff was always available to help. We always felt supported by them; it was a very family-like and welcoming atmosphere. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel; the quality of the food was fantastic! And the wine! The breakfast may not have a huge variety, but it was delicious. I won't forget the artisanal infused coffee they served us; it was truly delicious. In short, a beautiful place with excellent service and wonderful cuisine. I send a big hug to the entire staff for making this possible; I'll never forget this place.

After a car breakdown, we ended up in the hotel rather unintentionally – but the staff made our stay as pleasant as possible. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We would especially like to mention the manager, who speaks very good German and even helped us with some organizational matters – for that we are very grateful! The hotel exudes peace and comfort. Despite the commotion surrounding the breakdown, we felt very comfortable there. Thank you so much for everything!
