Great value for money and a charming place overall - definitely recommend

Excellent welcome, pleasant room, perfect bedding and absolute calm. Two hours of relaxation at the spa. Beautiful, well-equipped space. Wonderful room service dinner. Well done everyone.

Great experience at this hotel. We spotted this place with my partner when we were passing through Grenoble. We therefore decided to spend a weekend there in July as a spa and tradition stopover. Amazing experience. The room was splendid and clean. The bed was so comfortable you never wanted to leave. As for the reception service, impeccable. The little receptionist we had, although very young (I think she must have been an intern) was very professional and her superior (I think they both had the same first name) was attentive to her words without question. might as well be oppressive for the little girl. So I want to thank them both. It's good to see such dynamic young people, especially when you know what work it can be to be at reception (my partner confirms my words). As for the spa service (which is managed by the reception, from what I could see) it's very good too. The relaxation area is very cozy and the music is pleasant to hear. Plus we were alone for an hour so it was so good. Finally the restaurant. The meal was extraordinary. Congratulations to the chef. The servers were very responsive. The only downside was the sommelier who was intrusive and mocking, bordering on insolence. Although my companion is knowledgeable about wine, he took the liberty of judging him and making fun of his request. It's disrespectful, disturbing... Fortunately, we said to ourselves that it wasn't going to ruin our stay. So that’s why we keep our rating of 5/5. This was just an isolated case. Thank you again for the quality experience we had.

Séjournant dans l'hôtel pour une étape de voyage, nous profitons de dîner dans ce restaurant. La réservation, faite par internet, a parfaitement été enregistrée et l’accueil est diligent et aimable. La cuisine est d'excellente tenue. Les plats du menu pour les hôtes sont originaux et les saveurs des mets très bien équilibrées. Le service est professionnel, attentionné et détendu. L'atmosphère du lieu est très agréable. En repensant à la belle découverte, nous pouvons recommander cet établissement sans réserve.

We were there for our wedding night and we were very disappointed, when you go to a castle, you expect better, the rooms are basic hotel rooms, at least ours. Not romantic at all. The breakfast room could have been beautiful if it had not been dated with completely threadbare curtains. But looking at the photos it has changed a lot and that's so much the better.

The restaurant being privatized, it is not possible for guests of the castle to dine on site, moreover located in the middle of the city it is difficult to be disoriented :-(

C'est la seconde fois que nous venons en couple à la Commanderie pour un moment de détente au calme et nous apprécions toujours autant. La première fois nous avions dormi dans une grande et magnifique chambre. Cette fois nous avons uniquement fait spa + massage et dîner romantique. Le restaurant m'a particulièrement marqué cette seconde fois. Les plats était originaux et délicieux, très recherchés. Le conseil d'accord met et vin optimal. J'ai même fini par demander si le chef briguait une première étoile.
