Very warm welcome. Friendly staff. Don't look for an extension card, there isn't one and that's great. The dishes are very good and sufficiently generous. For the seafood platter, you must reserve it at the same time as the table (get a little in advance to reserve 😉). Just a small downside on the restaurant room being a little cold (that's my opinion). A good time had.

Superb experience. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. The restaurant is very very good, the dishes are careful and very good. The staff and management are very pleasant, smiling and very professional. I recommend with my eyes closed, you will have a pleasant stay

I love this place which exudes incredible serenity, I have stayed there every 2 years for 10 years and I have never been disappointed... the setting is splendid and the food delicious, the staff friendly... a haven of peace for those seeking rest for body and mind. I highly recommend.

The view from the room isn't great but you just had to go down and it was wonderful...woods all around, nice walk (dog allowed), nice terrace in front of the building.. Refined cuisine, excellent value for money, indoor restaurant but also a beautiful, well-appointed terrace for dining outside Simple but effective French breakfast Top service

We went as a family to the lively tavern at the Château de la Motte. Very nice atmosphere with concert and cheese/charcuterie platters accompanied by fries. The manager is very friendly and comes himself to make sure that everything is going well from time to time, the service is quality and the atmosphere is family. Don’t miss the next guinguette event on August 30! I recommend 100%.

I had stayed at this hotel in the past and enjoyed it and the restaurant. Its not really the purpose of this review but it is in a nice rural setting. A couple of small lakes next to it with woods and fields around. There is an ample parking area with a seating area at the front for drinks and the restaurant has an outside seating area if the weather permits, as it did on a previous stay. We were saying a a gite not that far away and as we were not staying in any hotels we liked the idea of going out to lunch on a couple of occasions during our weeks stay. Having been here before this was our first choice. On arrival there was no one at the hotel or restaurant receptions but after a very short while we located a gentleman. We were shown to a nice table by the window, the weather was not up to sitting outside. The menus and wine menu arrived and our aperitive order was taken. As not driving I ordered a local beer which came in glass with wooden support. It was very good. I had a slight panic in that I could not initially find any Burgundy Red Wines but located them, and order a Mercurey. The menu was not huge but gave a reasonable choice. For starters my wife had escargot and I had the St-Jacques (scallops). All very nice. For mains we had boeuf, which was exceptionally good. Several other people came in so there were 5 groups on a Tuesday Lunchtime. Service was good and courteous, with a understanding that our French might not be great. As with good French restaurants it was more than just a meal but also an occasion. A very nice meal and one of those places you leave feeling just that.
