A very warm welcome, delicious meal, a great discovery.

Very pleasant, efficient and quick service, just as we wanted. Good food. A minor drawback was the row of dozens of high tables below ours, intended for an evening event, which slightly spoiled the bucolic atmosphere upstairs. Perhaps consider adding some tree screens for privacy.

An exceptional meal in an idyllic setting. High-quality cuisine served on a superb shaded terrace. Original and very well-executed menu. Efficient and friendly service. We loved it! One of the finest restaurants in Aix-en-Provence!

I was really looking forward to eating in this magnificent setting, but aside from the beauty of the castle, I was disappointed with the meal overall. The roasted peanuts served as an amuse-bouche were not up to the standards of a fine dining establishment. I asked for a glass of lightly sweetened white wine, and they told me they didn't have any. They brought the wrong dish for the starter, and when it finally arrived, it lacked flavor and was completely unseasoned. As for the main courses, my husband had trouble cutting his meat because it was so tough. However, my dish, the salmon, was absolutely delicious, without a single flaw. Finally, the desserts were a huge disappointment: a simple bowl of strawberries and a tasteless French toast. The bill, meanwhile, was far too expensive for such a disappointing meal. Perhaps it was just an off day, and it's not usually like that, but I can only share my own experience. Following the owner's response, I would like to add that we did not take the €39 menu but rather ordered à la carte and we spent over €140 for two people, so indeed we expected more than just peanuts.

Seeing this restaurant rated with an average of 4.5/5 is strange... The setting is exceptional, and the quality and flavor of the dishes are equally so. The value for money, considering the restaurant and grounds, and the service, is certainly one of the best in the region. The dishes are refined, generously portioned, and beautifully presented.
