The setting remains subdued and not noisy, the dishes are properly presented but the plates seem quite large depending on the dishes served and their accompaniment.

Excellent restaurant, the setting is superb, the meat was exquisite, and the service was impeccable. The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection, the chimichurri sauce enhanced it beautifully, and the steak tartare was also outstanding. It's well worth a visit if you're in the area.

I've read some almost rave reviews, but I'll take that with a grain of salt. It's a good restaurant, the setting is beautiful, the building's renovation is very well done, the food was good, and the service was friendly and professional. But I felt they didn't quite live up to the comments I'd read. Was it because of those comments that I wasn't blown away? Certainly, they raised my expectations, and the simplicity of the dishes at our dinner seemed far too simple. As for the price, the bill wasn't too steep. I would still recommend it, though, because if I go back to Lyon, I plan to return this time without reading any reviews and form my own opinion.

Fantastic experience! We loved the atmosphere of this beautiful restaurant. The servers were excellent, no complaints whatsoever. The food was also superb. We'll definitely be back!

New review for a new experience, this time indoors in the fall. The duck leg with dauphinoise potatoes was perfect, well-cooked and well-seasoned; the apple and pear tarte tatin was very good, accompanied by quality vanilla ice cream. The service was welcoming and very friendly; we will be back! ————- For a great lunch in the summer without breaking the bank in a very pretty setting. We had a barbecue buffet for around twenty euros. Although classic, the salads for starters were well-prepared and well-seasoned. The meats were good, the side dishes well-cooked, special mention for the beef which was delicious!

09/04/2026: A top-notch hotel! The team is always very welcoming and professional. I've been coming to the Admiral for work for three years now, and I'm never disappointed. The rooms are very cozy and comfortable. The room cleaning is always impeccable, with fresh bottles of water available for the night. The restaurant is excellent, with Chef Stéphane at the helm. The service team is always friendly and attentive, including Kaysse, Kévin, Marion, Romane, Erji, and Levana. They always have a smile on their face, which is very pleasant! The reception staff are also wonderful, from Lou, Clara, Maëva, Alexandre, Leia, Loumyah, Pauline, and Auclair—all very professional and lovely. And let's not forget Rachel, the manager of the establishment, just like the whole team. Thanks again for tuning the bar piano; it's a real treat to play a few notes. Thanks again to everyone; I haven't mentioned everyone by name because I don't know everyone's first name 😉 See you very soon, A loyal customer Mr.
09/04/2026: Hello team, I came on Saturday, April 4th to attend a show at La Tour Salvagny, and I must say that you were all incredibly kind to me. Special thanks to Maeva and Leïa. Thank you both so much for everything. Thank you for all the thoughtful gestures you showed me, especially calling a taxi. Thank you for helping me get to La Tour Salvagny (a very beautiful town) by public transport (not easy). I highly recommend this hotel; it's very well located and offers good value for money for a 4-star hotel. Hats off! I will definitely be back. Thank you. I would also like to thank the show's organizer, the head of the "Donner la main" association, and all the other associations present at the performance. It was a truly wonderful evening on April 4th. Beautiful, short stay at the Tower, but I'll be back...soon. 🫶🌹🍀
